Our Children’s Acting Headshots Sessions are designed for kids age 8 - 12.
Have a kiddo under 8 who needs acting headshots? We still might be a good fit! Younger children take a bit more time to capture that set of winning images and so, we have a $25 increase for the session cost so we are sure to have time to take breaks and get a set of images that are successful.
Every children’s headshot session includes full body shots, as well as close-up headshots.
We know that your agency needs images that will help your child get opportunities in all types of commercial and print work. That’s why every session automatically includes full body, 3/4, and headshots.

Q: How many looks do I need for a Child Headshot Session?
A: Children normally need two looks for their headshots each time they come in.
Your child is growing (fast!) and normally when you come in for new headshots, you need a full refresh.
We recommend a two-look session for any child under 12 so that we can capture a strong set of new headshots for his or her portfolio.
We do NOT recommend three looks, as the amount of time it takes for three looks can wear your kiddo out. Stick with two looks so all the smiles and joy are authentic and the dance songs don’t get old :)

I can typically take children as young as 5 years old. There is a $25 young child addition (age 5 - 7) since littles typically take more time to get those winning shots.
I do not work with children under 5, but do have recommendations for you :) Get in touch!

Children under 12 should have no makeup on. If you are concerned about hair styling, we can do a hair-only add-on for $150 (get in touch to chat more!)
Children’s hair should look clean and natural, and often we prefer pigtails or braids to help them stay young and sweet!

If you have multiple kiddos, yes, we can book them back to back! Please bring something to keep your child occupied while they wait for their turn.

Normally YES, you will need full body shots and headshots for your child actor or model.
When planning outfits, thing head to toe, and remember that shoes need to look new or like-new for photos.
There is no extra charge to get full body shots with your session :) We will shoot on plain colored paper and get both full body and headshots on the background.

Order a “Youth” session here and once the order comes in, we will look at all the available dates! If you are available during weekdays, we typically have spots the very next week. Weekends book about 1 month out.

Two Look Sessions - Commercial and Theatrical Looks for Film and TV
Here are some examples of child actors who did a 2-look session. When shooting two looks for kids, we still keep both looks youthful! We will adjust the style of the second look to be competitive in the Los Angeles and New York markets. Our goal is to stand out as professionals in the industry, whether commercial or theatrical.
