About Eldeen Annette

My name is Eldeen Annette, and I create powerful headshots for actors in Orlando, Florida.

I love to have FUN! It’s literally my favorite. Somebody get me a roller-coaster - STAT (*my thoughts actually every single day. I guess it’s why we landed near a couple few coasters, haha! We DO enjoy ourselves a good Velosicoaster as often as we can). Even though joy is such a priority for my lifestyle, I take what I do very seriously. I adore photographing actors - they bring out the best in me with their sense of confidence, willingness to laugh, get into character, and an actor’s drive and self-motivation is inspiring to me.

I love getting to know people one-on-one and figuring out how to photograph each of my awesome actors in a way that highlights their very best.  Every person should have an image that represents their unique point-of-view as an actor, types, qualities, expertise, values, personality, and of course, an image that is strikingly attractive and strong.

Fun facts about me:
– I am a classical opera singer
- I grew up in Colorado. Love those mountains, but don’t love those 0-degree days during the winter.
– I ride speed motorcycles
– I love moving (we are currently in house 5 in 13 years)
– I love renovating my house.
– You will find me at a roller coaster theme park almost daily, living here in Orlando!
– I can’t do math.  Despite my literal best efforts.  I just don’t get it.
– I have two daughters who are continually amazing me.  I love being a mom.
– Photography is the biggest passion I have.  I put every spare moment into continuing to learn and get better.
– I have exceedingly high expectations for myself (a good thing and sometimes can be a bad thing.  But mostly it just pushes me to be the best and not settle until I’ve got there — a life-long pursuit of learning)
– I deeply value knowing people one-on-one.
– I have a passion for helping people leave a legacy and preserving memories of events and people.
– I am a solid Christian.  Unashamed.
– I live each day to the fullest – whether it’s learning a new photography lighting technique, or reading a book on the back porch.  I value life!

Thank you for taking a moment to get to know me! I can’t wait to meet you and create a set of powerful acting headshots that will get you seen, in front of casting directors, and help you stand out in this competitive market.
– Eldeen

What about Acting Headshots for Teens and Children?

Children and Teen actors are some of my favorite clients! I know how difficult it can be to get started in this field - my daughter started acting at age 9 (which is why I opted to learn how to take acting headshots, actually! As a senior portrait photographer, I already loved working with individuals and teens, so it made sense to learn this very particular craft so that my daughter would get called in for auditions!).

I am happy to offer a special rate for students who are with coaches that opt in to partnership. Ask your coach if they would like to talk about partnering for special rates for their studio.

Our young acting headshot sessions last about 30 minutes per look, where we shoot several different backgrounds per outfit to get you loads of options for your look book.

What Acting Headshot Packages Do You Have?

There are several acting headshot session options for you to choose from depending on how many looks you would like, and whether you prefer to have a professional hair and makeup stylist.

Once you place your order, I will get in touch via email with date options!

These sessions are designed for either film or theater actors using modern lighting techniques, and effective backdrops designed to get you noticed.

Our goal is to make you look GOOD, all while truly capturing your character and talent so casting directors can’t wait to see your audition.

FAQs

  • My studio is in west Orlando, between Windermere and Dr. Phillips, Florida. We have the fun opportunity to be only 10 minutes west of Universal Studios (and we go often!)

  • In order to provide the best headshots, I prefer to stay in my home studio with all my professional lighting gear and backdrops. However, in special circumstances, I can come to you within 20 miles of Orlando! Travel rates apply.

  • Sure! If you’re handling your own hair/makeup, I ask that you set up your appointment with them before you arrive for your session. Your artist is welcome to stay during your session and provide adjustments between looks.

  • I always leave it up to the client to decide on their hair and makeup needs, but in general, it is not necessary as long as you come trimmed up and looking sharp.

If you plan to shave during the session for different looks, please bring all appropriate shaving gear.

  • I leave shoot preparation up to the client. If you have questions about what to bring, get in touch with your agency or acting coach for help. They will know your market, types, and needs. When you book a session, I provide a How To Prepare Guide which has suggestions for prepping looks and wardrobe. Once you arrive at the studio we look at your options and help decide which ones we think will work best.

  • Sessions last about 35 minutes per look, plus and hour hair/makeup if applicable.

  • No-shows and photo sessions that are cancelled within 48 hours are non-refundable. If you find that you need cancel your session, let us know sooner than 48 hours before your session time to receive a full refund, or re-schedule.

  • Yes! Your session comes with 30-35 images per look, plus your favorite 2 headshots retouched. You can download your full set with the dropbox link I will send via email within 24 hour after our session.

  • I archive the chosen edits for 12 months. I do not archive images that were not selected for editing. It is strongly advised that you save your images somewhere safely on your computer and back up your images.

  • Super fun! I love to pull out your best, and tend to “act” right along with you! I will guide you through poses and help you communicate your types and characters. I have found that a super relaxed environment helps it to feel like you're just hanging out with friends and shooting some photos for a couple of hours allowing you to access your unique point of view. Feel free to bring your own playlist to rock out or we have full music services to choose from. Come ready to collaborate and have a great time!
